Q. What are the dates?
A. The rally begins on Wednesday 10/20 and ends on Saturday, 10/23.
Q. What does the entry fee of $25.00 include?
A. The fee includes your entry to all the functions and a rally pin.
Q. Does everyone have to register?
A. Yes, in order to be able to attend all events/functions, all members and guests must register in the registration area to receive their wrist-band.
No wrist-band, no entry!
Q. Is the onsite registration entry fee different than the pre-registration fee?
A. Yes...after 9/1 pre-registraion is closed, the fee is $35.00 and you do not receive a pin with this fee. This includes onsite registration.
Pins will be available for purchase in the registration area.
Q. Will all functions be a the host hotel?
A. No, please be sure to receive the rally program which includes the schedule of events, times and locations of each event.
Q. Where can I purchase a rally t-shirt, rally hat, rally patch and misc items?
A. All items that you can purchase will be located in the registration area. Keep in mind, inventory depletes quickly onsite, as we only carry a limited amount of these items ...so it is best to order online at the same time when registering.
Q. Where do I register for all the bike games, sign up for the bike show, pick up scheduled rides and self-guided ride information?
A. The registration area in the ballroom on the second floor of the host hotel.
Q. There will be guided and self-guided rides!
A. The "Emerald Coast" HOG chapter has planned 8- self-guided rides and 2- guided rides throughout the area. You must signup for the guided rides in the registration area. (FYI: as of this writing, it is not known the date or time of the guided rides.) There will be a booklet showing all the self-guided rides and maps that will direct you around this beautiful area. Some rides will take you into Alabama. Please note: Alabama has a helmet law. So if you plan to ride into Alabama, bring your helmet.
Q. Can I bring my pet?
A. Pets are allowed onsite, around the hotel and "Harborwalk" area, but not inside the host hotel. There are several VET clinics within close proximity of the host hotel that can accommodate your pets. Prior reservations are a must. One is called "Companion Animal Hospital of Destin", phone: 850-269-2270 and another one, "Destin Animal Clinic", phone 850-837-2931. Both these clinics handle boarding of dogs. Do a web search to find more clinics in the area.
Q. Are over-sized trailers allowed onsite?
A. Yes, but only if you are staying at the host hotel. There is a parking area between the Emerald Grande and Harborwalk for your trailers.
Q. Is there going to be a "Parade of Flags?"
A. Yes!! The staging area will be at the "Uptown Mall" in Ft Walton Beach and will travel at least 10 miles to the ending site at the "Destin Commons". Be sure to bring your chapter flag and your own pole for your bike. There is no limit as to the number of bikes that will be allowed in the parade. Be sure to mark on your registration form that you are planning to be in the parade.
Q. Where do we sign-in as a "volunteer?"
A. The registration room on the second floor of the host hotel.
